Monika Müller Leibl

Monika Müller Leibl studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Professor Mac Zimmerman, she lets her images resonate in an idiosyncratic such diverse forms of artistic expression. It speaks its own artistic language and is difficult to classify or compare with other modern artists and movements.
In large-scale watercolors, canvas paintings, drawings and etchings created Figural and Spot. Images that tell often with a minimum of means of solitude and quiet grandeur of a primeval landscape, spaces and people. There are abbreviated forms with a strange alienation and the other remaining close to nature. Color forms suggest figurative or real associations. Here, there are quite objective and unding structures together into units.
The man is her favorite subject. He is powerful, aggressive, gestural painting, some larger than life, often framed by delicate lines, almost always faceless. Monika Müller Leibl's pictures have been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad, including in the gallery Drächselhaus in Munich, the Cultural Institute Belgrade and Trieste, at Miharudo in Tokyo, were at the Kunstverein Munich from the following museums and institutions purchased: Lenbachgaleri Munich, Bavarian State Painting Collection, Staatliche Graphische Sammlung Munich, art libraries in Cologne and Munich.
